Access Ministry at Woodmen

It is Woodmen's desire to come alongside individuals and families impacted by disability so that they are welcomed and included in the services, programs and events at Woodmen.

Our program is based on relationships—growing in relationship with the Lord and His word, with students, other ministry partners and families. Our students look up to Ministry Partners as role models as they have the opportunity to show and teach about God’s love, acceptance and grace. We strongly believe that the church is a place where everyone can grow in their relationship with Christ. Access is a safe environment where individuals with unique needs can feel supported and part of the bigger Church body.

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139: 13-14

This site exists to support parents and caregivers of those with special needs with local resources, web resources and community! How great is that? I hope that you take time to dive into this site and see all that it has to offer! Please let me know if you have any questions.
